REMINGTON MODEL 1861 ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. .44. SN 9572, another number 17 is stamped on the bottom of the bbl on the left side of the frame under the grip but this gun shows no sign of being converted so the meaning is not known. 8″ oct bbl. CONDITION: The metal has been draw filed and the markings are mostly gone. There is heavy holster wear at the muzzle. The grips are worn and battered at the bottom with cleaning marks on the side.
