*FERLIB MODEL F.VII DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 28 ga. SN 33438. Wonderful dainty Italian made boxlock shotgun with 26″ bbls choked FULL/IMP-CYL with tapered concave matted rib with sgl bead, dbl lumps, ejectors & dbl triggers. Receiver has full coverage, very fine arabesque scroll engraving with top lever, top tang, trigger guard & forend iron engraved to match. Mounted with highly figured marble cake French walnut with extremely fine checkered splinter forearm & straight stock with raised teardrop side panels, 14-1/4″ over a checkered butt. There is a blank gold initial plate on bottom. Accompanied by a copy of a specification sheet for Ferlib Shotguns. Drop at the heel: 2″, drop at the comb: 1-1/4″. Bore restrictions: left – .029, right – .018. Unable to gage wall thickness. Bore diameter: left – .532, right – .548. Weight: 5 lbs. 7.04 oz. CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine. As new, may have been fired but if so very little. Retains virtually all of its bright orig factory finish to both metal & wood. Wood is sound with stock checkering showing light to moderate wear on wrist & minor nicks elsewhere. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bores. 4-55465 JR83 (3,500-5,500)
