*WONDERFUL FRANCOTTE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 28 ga. SN 1046. Spectacular lightweight Belgian made dbl with 26-1/8″ Siemens Martin steel bbls choked FULL/IMP-MOD with tapered concave matted rib & sgl bead. It has Greener crossbolt rib extension with dbl lumps, ejectors & Miller sgl selective trigger. Bbls are marked with the Abercrombie & Fitch company markings. Dainty square-edge box lock receiver is very nicely engraved with foliate arabesque patterns with about 70% coverage. Mounted with streaky, very nicely figured French walnut with a checkered splinter forearm & dainty rnd knob semi-pistol grip stock, 13-3/4″ over a checkered horn buttplate. There is a blank silver initial plate on bottom. Drop at the heel: 2-5/8″, drop at the comb: 1-1/2″. Bore restrictions: left – unable to gage, right – .016. Unable to gage wall thickness. Bore diameter: left – .521, right – .537. Weight: 4 lbs. 9.92 oz. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine. Nearly new, has been hunted but retains virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood. Bbl blue is bright with only minor edge wear & a small nick or two on right bbl. Receiver retains virtually all of its brilliant case colors.
