FINE EARLY CRADLE IN RED PAINT. The early 19th Century cradle having acorn finials flanking a curved board with cutout handhold. The bottom fitted for a rope and the two rockers with nicely shaped form. An interesting feature is the mushroom knobs placed on each side of the cradle. PROVENANCE: Ex-Newsome-Berdan Collection. SIZE: 23-1/2”h x 37-1/2”l x 28”d at rocker. CONDITION: Very good with a nice, dry surface. 9-90765 SM (700-900)
