ANTIQUE DOLLS’ HOUSE FIREPLACE & DOLLS. Circa 19th Century. Large gilt gold tin fireplace with over mantle mirror with hearth area being black tin with a grate and red foil paper to represent a fire. The fireplace has impressed designs around the hearth and on the columns as well as under the mantle. The mantle has a scalloped edge and the over mantle mirror is divided into three parts with scalloped designs on the outer mirrors and a sunburst in the pediment at the top. Also included in the lot are two grand soldiers standing on each side of the fireplace with original uniforms; one with red and navy blue having a sword at his side, high black boots, a decorative helmet with gold eagle on the front and tassel on the side. Other soldier has royal blue coat with red decoration, gold buttons with epaulets and he has a sword at his side. Both soldiers have molded hair and mustaches; the soldier in the royal blue jacket has molded black hair and mustache. SIZE: Fireplace is 8-5/8″ t x 6″ w. Both soldiers are 7-1/4″ t.
