TIFFANY STUDIOS BRONZE & FAVRILE GLASS FLOOR LAMP BASE. Tiffany Studios floor lamp base has five ball feet supporting a round disc with vertical ribbing with center vertically ribbed bulbous base. Base supports a column of gold favrile glass with a center bronze band border on top and bottom with bronze beaded trim and housing the original switch assembly. Base is finished with a three socket cluster and a 5-5/8″ shade wheel. Bronze is done in a rich brown patina with green highlights. Base is marked on the underside “Tiffany Studios New York 642”. Similar example is pictured in the book Tiffany Lamps & Metalwork by Alastair Duncan, pg. 212, figure 837. SIZE: 66-3/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some very minor wear to patina. 5-65618 (15,000-25,000)
