UNSIGNED (European, 18th/19th Century) OLD MASTER STILL LIFE. Oil on canvas still life scene shows an urn brimming with flowers in a landscape setting with small water area having colorful flowers. The lid is beside it with other flowers surrounding it and an open half of watermelon. Flowers can be seen on the right side leading to a landscape view with classical ruins under blue and white cloud sky. Housed in a 19th Century frame liner. The back stretcher having a very old pen written label which is indecipherable. SIZE: 15″ x 22″. PROVENANCE: From a large Boston, MA area Estate. CONDITION: 4″ tear to center, alligatoring varnish surface, surface dirt, some perimeter shipping, in need of restoration. 9-99314 (400-800)
