*CASED BROWNING MIDAS LIGHTNING GRADE SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 51243V8. Beautiful over/under Browning with 26-1/4″ bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL with narrow, hand-matted ventilated rib with sgl bead, ejectors & gold plated sgl selective trigger. Receiver is engraved by master engraver, Angelo Bee, & signed on both sides “ABEE”. It is engraved in typical Midas patterns with three raised gold pheasants on left side, three raised gold ducks on right side & a raised gold quail on bottom, all with wonderfully detailed backgrounds. The two side vignettes have typical Midas elliptical gold wire borders. Top tang has “S”, “U” & “O” in gold. Entire receiver & forend iron have extremely well executed leaf & vine patterns with fine punch dot background. Trigger guard has a blank elliptical shaped shield. Mounted with very nicely figured walnut with checkered rnd field style forearm & short tang rnd knob stock with raised side panels, 14-1/4″ over a Browning black composition buttplate. Accompanied by a rnd corner brown leatherette white fleece lined Browning case. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 6 lbs. 4.8 oz. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine. As new, retains virtually all of its fine bright orig factory finish to both metal & wood. Checkering has no hand oil indicating virtually no handling. There are no discernible flaws.
