*FINELY CRAFTED KUCHENREUTER SIDELOCK EJECTOR DRILLING WITH THREE SETS OF BARRELS EACH WITH ZEISS SCOPES, WITH KNIFE AND CASE. SN 6349. Cal. 7 x 65 Double Rifle over 20 Ga. (Set 1), 7 x 65 R x 22 Long Rifle over 20 Ga. (Set 2), and Standard Drilling 20 x 20 over 7 x 65 R (Set 3). All barrel sets are 25-1/4″ long with Zeiss Diatal Z 6 X 42 rail mount scopes in pivoting bases, and are engraved “A. Kuchenreuter/ Cham” on top ribs. Bbls are finished in satin chrome with gold-plated extractor lugs. Rear sights are single standing leaf dovetailed through rib. Front sights are gold sourdough blades, longitudinally dovetailed into front raised portion of rib. Sling loop is soldered to bottom of each bbl set. All bbls are stamped “Bohler Super Blitz”, as well as with calibers, and SNs. Importers mark “LWPT Inc. CMG. Ga” is on left side of bottom bbls at breech. Double rifle bbls are fitted with well executed fillers so that same forend can be used on all barrel sets. Back action side lock receiver features cross bolt third fastener, reinforcing bolsters, bushed strikers, tang mounted bottom bbl cocking slide, pivoting safety lever rear of left lockplate, double triggers (front trigger set), and gold-plated cocking hooks, pin ends, and triggers. Satin chrome action and lockplates are nicely border engraved with acanthus and scroll with stippled background. Bottom of action has matching scroll with “C. Kuchenreuter” and “Cham – Bayern” engraved in ribands on either side of horseman logo. Finely marbled, and slightly stump figured European walnut full pistol grip buttstock ends in a ribbed horn buttplate, and features nicely sculpted right hand Bavarian cheekpiece, hogback comb, horn grip cap, and sling loop on toe line. In place of checkering there is an area of very nicely carved acanthus and scroll with stippled background to match theme of action. Rounded semi-beavertail forend has a Deeley release with carving and engraving to match buttstock. Ejector internals are gold-plated. Barrel set no. 1: Bore diameter: bottom -..667 Bore restrictions: bottom -.025. Wall thickness: bottom -.033. Drop at heel: Approx 2-5/8″, drop at comb: 1-5/8″. Weight: 10 lbs. 11.8 oz, LOP 14-1/8″. Barrel set 2: Bore diameter: bottom -.669. Bore restrictions: bottom -.028. Wall thickness: bottom -.033. Weight: 9 lbs. 15.7 oz. Barrel set no. 3: Bore diameter: left -.664, right -.667. Bore restrictions: left -.022, right -.020. Wall thickness: left -.037, right -.036. Weight: 8 lbs. 13 oz. All measurements were made without scopes. Zeiss scopes have heavy three post reticles. Mounts have push forward releases with locking detents on left side. Starlight Pelican type ABS case has compartments for gun and barrels, and is lined with green cloth, with black and white embroidered patch for State Arms Gun Co. Waunakee, WI, and contains Hubertus Solingen clip point Bowie type knife with stag handle, and leather sheath, and a foam backed dark green cloth rifle sling with leather accents. CONDITION: Excellent, near new, showing little evidence of use, except for a few minor marks and abrasions. Action is tight. Ejectors are in time. All bores are excellent. Scopes are excellent. Case is excellent. Knife is as new. This fine custom made ensemble, using only the best accessories, was made to have one gun suitable for almost any purpose, probably never to be replicated. 4-39183 MGM63 (20,000-30,000)
