TIFFANY STUDIOS LEADED TABLE LAMP. The lamp begins with a fully leaded shade that is referred to as a feather and jewel. This was one of Tiffany Studios first forays into shades other than complete geometrics. This particular example has heavily textured opalescent and cream feathers with jewels in colors of russet, green and opalescent. The shade is finished at bottom with four rows of green geometric panels. The shade is supported by a bronze base with three sockets, riser, wheel and pierced top cap. The entire lamp carries a desirable patina finish. The shade is signed with a small early tag “Tiffany Studios New York”. The base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 444″ as well as the studio’s logo. SIZE: Shade is 16″ dia. Lamp is 24” t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with very few tight hairlines. 5-65519 (16,000-19,000)
