RARE LIBERTY BELL GUM FRUIT SLOT MACHINE. Early cast iron 3-reel nickel slot with playing card symbols. Original marquee shows various playing card payouts in trade. Features a unique horizontal coin mechanism and side panel castings, which depict the Statue of Liberty and New York skyline together with large Liberty Bells. Circa 1914 by Mills Novelty Co. SIZE: 13”w x 20-1/2”h x 13”d. CONDITION: Appears all original. Exterior castings with original worn paint finish. Very light surface rust appearing in areas through the paint but does not to appear to have pitted the castings. Rear door has a tight 3” vertical crack in top of casting. Working condition but no key, hence interior not inspected. 1-1808 (5,000-10,000)
