OLD MASTER (European, Before 1800) THE CARD PLAYERS. Large oil on canvas scene shows several men playing cards in an outdoor setting. One man has Roman type helmet with red and yellow robe. The other in uniform with scabbard. A peasant with hat also plays. Three other men watch all against a rocky outcropping with blue sky. Unsigned. Unframed. SIZE: 37-1/2” x 55”. CONDITION: Evidence of several relinings, in need of extensive restoration. Poor to fair. 9-28945 (1000-2000)
