*RARE CASED BROWNING DIANA GRADE SUPERLIGHT SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 731V71. Beautiful lightweight rnd action Browning with 26-3/8″ bbls, narrow matted ventilated rib with sgl bead, ejectors & gold plated sgl selective trigger. Receiver, trigger guard & forend iron are French gray finished. Receiver is very beautifully deep chisel engraved with large vignettes of five pheasants on left side, four ducks on right side, two quail on bottom & two rabbits on trigger bow, all with extremely fine, well executed, highly detailed background scenery. Left side vignette is signed “ABEE” by master engraver, Angelo Bee. Balance of receiver & appended parts have full coverage leaf & vine patterns. Mounted with extremely beautiful center crotch cut, flame grain walnut with checkered semi-schnable tipped forearm & straight stock, 14-1/4″ over orig Browning black composition buttplate. Accompanied by a rnd corner brown leatherette white fleece lined Browning trunk case. Drop at heel: 2-1/4″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 5 lbs. 14.08 oz. CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine. As new, appears to be unfired retaining virtually all of its pristine factory orig finish to both metal & wood.
