*RARE CASED BELGIAN BROWNING DIANA GRADE SUPERPOSED SUPER LITE SHOTGUN. Cal. 410. SN 082J74. Spectacular lightweight Browning with 26-3/8″ bbls choked FULL/MOD with narrow, matted, ventilated rib, sgl silver bead, ejectors & gold-plated sgl selective trigger. Receiver & all appended parts are French gray finish. Receiver is wonderfully engraved in chisel relief with large vignettes of five pheasants on left side, four ducks on right side, two quail on bottom & two rabbits on trigger guard. Both side vignettes are engraver signed “C. BAERTEN”. Mounted with extremely beautiful, very light, honey & chocolate French or Circassian walnut with checkered semi-schnable tipped forearm & straight stock with raised side panels, 14-1/4″ over orig Browning black composition buttplate. Accompanied by a rnd corner, brown leatherette, tan fleece-lined Browning trunk case with two orig owner’s manuals. Also accompanying is orig black & gold 2-pc cardboard Styrofoam lined shipping box. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/4″. Weight: 6 lbs. 7.36 oz. CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine. As new, may or may not have been fired, retains virtually all of its brilliant factory finish to both metal & wood. Stock has two or three tiny mars in finish, otherwise there are no other discernible flaws & checkering is without hand grease or hand oil indicating very little handling.
