LARGE KAMMER & REINHARDT TODDLER BOY. Realistically modeled boy with head incised “Germany Simon & Halbig K*R 56 127n” with molded and painted hair, blue glass sleep eyes with painted upper and lower lashes as well as silk upper lashes, open mouth with two upper teeth and separately molded tongue. On original fully jointed wood and composition toddler body with diagonal hip joints. Nicely recostumed in a navy blue two piece wool sailor costume with newer leather shoes. SIZE: 24″ (62cm). CONDITION: Very good with a few minor black dust speckles in bisque; body finish original however slightly scrubbed with a split on left side of torso and index finger on right hand probably rebuilt. 1-11361 (300-600)
