FRAMED 1936 PARKER ADVERTISING POSTER. Wonderfully framed & matted Parker poster with 16″ x 11-1/2″ exposed image, printed on yellow paper with oval image of Gus Peret, world-famous big game hunter, holding a dbl rifle wearing a pith helmet & safari jacket with very large cartridges in loops. Red & black printing states “WE INVITE YOU / TO AN EXHIBIT OF / FINE PARKER GUNS” above image & “BY / GUS PERET / WORLD FAMOUS SHOT / AFRICAN AND ALASKAN BIG GAME HUNTER”. Dbl matted in very decorative red & black with a fine black frame & archival mounted. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Crisp & clean with only one little nick & two or three small spots of foxing with some slight soil around bottom of image. Frame is fine. 4-59118 JR536 (800-1,200)
