SMALL KESTNER 143 DOLL. Head is incised “Made in Germany 143″, brown glass sleep eyes, open mouth with two upper teeth on fully jointed German wood and composition body, appropriately dressed in white organdy with fancy embroidered trim. Short blond mohair wig over plaster pate is most likely original. Shoes and hat are later than the doll. SIZE: 11” (28cm). CONDITION: Very good, although antique and appropriately sized, body is not a Kestner body with some repair to the neck socket on the torso. 1-11189 (250-350)
