EARLY PARKER DAMASCUS HAMMER DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 67045. Built on a #2 frame with 30″ twist bbls choked MOD/MOD with tapered concave matted rib, sgl bead, doll’s head extension & extractors. Receiver has light border patterns on lockplate & around bottom with maker’s name on each side. It has serpentine opening lever. Mounted with nicely figured American walnut with checkered splinter forearm & pistol grip stock, 14-1/8″ over a deep Parker dog’s-head hard rubber buttplate. Drop at heel: 3-1/4″, drop at comb: 2-1/16″. Bore restrictions: left – .033, right – .033. Wall thickness: left – .038, right – .036. Bore diameter: left – .716, right – .721. Weight: 8 lbs. 14.08 oz.. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Near new, retains virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood. Bbls are a rich chocolate brown with a minor spot or two & minor edge wear. Case colors on lockplates, hammers & trigger plate are strong & brilliant. Fences are dark case colors & bottom front of receiver is turning silver. Trigger guard blue is thinning & there are several small nicks & scratches on buttstock.
