ANTIQUE CHRISTIAN HACKER DOLLS’ HOUSE. Circa 1880. This Hacker dolls’ house has an original exterior painted tan with four sets of double windows with pediments having painted decoration. The framed windows have aqua swags painted at the top. The windows have painted lines in a dark crimson. The quoining on the front corners is flat and has aqua line decoration. The front entrance and the balcony doors have glass and are painted aqua. The house opens from the front and opens as one large door. The mansard roof has the original Hacker paper with three dormers. When opened, there are four main rooms and two halls with a staircase. Wallpapers are original and intact but have staining, mostly on the second floor. The kitchen has the built in cupboard and stove unit which are all in place.The roof is removable and has two rooms. SIZE: 34″ t x 37″ w x 15-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Good. All original but with wear and missing some roof paper. 1-8620 AM (2,500-3,500)
