*SARASQUETA HIGH GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 234494. Fine sidelock double with 26” bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL with flat matted, ventilated rib, sgl ivory bead, dbl chopper lumps, ejectors & dbl triggers, the front articulated. The rib is marked in gold with maker’s name & address with a gold wire border and also has maker’s logo in gold. Bottom of bbls has a screwed on sling loop with corresponding loop in buttstock. Mounted with nicely figured burl & shell grain walnut with checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with teardrop side panels, 14-1/4” over a skip-line checkered butt. Bottom of grip is also skip-line checkered. Receiver has hand detachable sidelocks with cocked indicators and very deep relief engraving with game scene of two bird dogs & two quail on left side, two bird dogs & rabbit on right side and two bird dogs on bottom with two ducks on trigger bow, all surrounded by leaf & vine and arabesque patterns. All of appended metal and 3-1/4” over chamber area of bbls are engraved to match. Accompanied by its orig box & owner’s manual. Bore diameter: left – .732, right – .732. Bore restrictions: left – .024, right – .014. Wall thickness: left – .026, right – .025. Drop at heel: 2-1/4”, drop at comb: 1-3/8”. Weight: 7 lbs. 2.24 oz. CONDITION: Appears to be new, unfired. Retains virtually all of its factory finish to both metal & wood. Bbls have deep bright blue and receiver & lockplates are in the white.
