GROUP OF ENGLISH KNIVES AND FORKS, LATE 18TH-EARLY 19TH CENTURY, VARIOUS MAKERS. 1) Six Georgian knives and six matching forks with fiddlehead handles. 2) Twelve dinner knives with faceted handles, the blades marked “Hunt & Roskell” beneath a crown (Robert or Allen Roskell and John M. Hunt, London). 3) Sixteen English silver dinner forks by various makers including five by “Williams Eley, Sr.”, four by “William Eley, Jr.” with “William Fearn”, and six marked with “I. I H P” within cartouches form touch mark. Total count: 40 pieces. WEIGHT: 34 tr oz weighable. CONDITION: Wear to many markings, pitting in knife blades, expected wear overall. 9-74785 MD (600-1,000)
