OUTSTANDING 1931 STEINWAY & SONS BABY GRAND PIANO. Model M. Serial Number 272096. Ebonized finish with tapered square legs on spade feet with brass casters. 52 keys. Accompanying piano is a similarly style lift top bench with ebony finish by A. Merriam Co. having a blue flower decorated needlepoint seat. SIZE: Maximum width is 58” x 66” d x 38-1/2” h. CONDITION: Case is in superb condition with fine glossy finish. The works have two sticky keys. The soundboard appears to have a crack but plays beautifully. PROVENANCE: Purchased and kept in the same Bangor, Maine family since 1931. 9-70561 (6,000-10,000)
