COLT MODEL 1860 FLUTED ARMY PERCUSSION REVOLVER. Cal. 44. SN 7654. Standard fluted Army with 8″ rnd bbl, German silver front sight, 6-shot rebated fluted cylinder, 4-screw frame cut for shoulder stock with long stock screws. It has iron backstrap & brass trigger guard with 1-piece walnut grips. The backstrap has a forged repair at the bottom of the butt. CONDITION: Good to very good. All matching including the wedge & grips. No original finish remains being a cleaned artificially aged patina. Markings are thin but mostly legible. Right-extended stock screw is a replacement. Grips show moderate to heavy with chipped toes and a dark hand patina. Mechanics are fine, strong dark bore. 4-53715 JR986 (800-1,200)
