*DELUXE SAVAGE MODEL 1904 SINGLE SHOT BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22. SN 18577. Fine boy’s rifle with 18” bbl, integral receiver and dovetail front sight with tiny receiver mounted peep sight. It is mounted in a deluxe 1-pc walnut stock that has nicely checkered forearm and wrist with serpentine sheet metal trigger guard/grip and has a “Savage . . .” marked flat steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl/receiver retains 93-95% bright original blue with some fine pitting on the receiver end. Wood is sound and retains most of its bright varnish finish and the buttplate about 80% of its bright blue. Mechanics are fine, worn dark bore. 4-52906 JR414 (500-800)
