SALESMAN SAMPLE HORSE DRAWN FARM EQUIPMENT. Interesting wooden apparatus with two nickel wheels with a series of sixteen nickel-tipped fingers behind which the farmer sits on a raised formed seat. Intended to be pulled by horses or oxen presumably to gather hay. Retains partial decals stating “International” and “Chicago”. Affixed with wire for hanging, but easily removed not affecting the integrity of the piece. SIZE: 49″ w x 37″ l. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of the late John Woods, St. Louis, MO. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Couple of minor splits to wooden fingertips as well as a couple of nicks. 1-9346 (1,500-2,500)
