*PARKER PH GRADE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 10 ga. SN 223098. Built on a #3 frame with 32″ Parker steel bbls with tapered matted concave rib with sgl bead, doll’s head, extractors & dbl triggers. Receiver has light foliate arabesque & border pattern engravings. Mounted with straight grain American walnut with checkered splinter forearm & pistol grip stock, 14″ over a Hawkins red waffle pad. Accompanied by a Parker letter identifying this shotgun completely with the exception that the orig length of pull was 14-1/4″. Weight is listed as 9 lbs. 9 oz. There is a hand written note at bottom “This gun was sent back to factory to have barrels ‘re-browned. The date is in ST BK 78″. Drop at the heel: 2-11/16″, drop at the comb: 1-1/2”. Bore restrictions: left – .013, right – .014. Wall thickness: left – .047, right – .050. Bore diameter: left – .767, right – .773. Weight: 9 lbs. 6.72 oz. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Bbls retain most of their factory restored blue with a couple of small spots on left side & two or three small chemical spots on right side. Receiver retains most of its orig factory case colors, strong & bright in sheltered areas, lightly faded elsewhere. Wood is sound & retains most of a professionally restored finish.
