TWO BAROVIER “MOTHERHOOD” FIGURES. Two mother and child figures feature partially nude mothers with their gowns being opaque blue glass with gold leaf finish. One child at is its mother’s feet peering up while the other is in its mother’s arms facing her. Both children are partially nude with a cactus body made of “lattimo” glass with gold. Pictured in the book Art of the Barovier, Glassmakers in Murano, 1866-1972, pg. 124, figure 97. SIZE: 10-1/4″ and 10-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-68177 (1,000-1,500)
