*PARKER MODEL GHE DAMASCUS DBL BBL SHOTGUN TWO BBL SET. Cal. 12 ga. SN 193979. Built on a #2 frame with 32″ damascus steel bbls choked FULL/FULL & 26″ bbls choked CYL/CYL. Both sets of bbls have a forearm, concave, tapered, and matted rib with single bead & dolls head extensions. The 32″ bbls have ejectors while 26″ bbls ejectors are missing. Receiver has dbl triggers. Receiver is engraved with typical “G” patterns consisting of 2 pheasants on the left side, 2 partridge on the right side & 2 ducks on the bottom with light flourishes of arabesque patters & the makers name on each side. It is mounted with very nicely figured center crotch cut American walnut with checkered splinter forearm & pistol grip stock 13-1/2″ over an old leather faced pad. Drop at heel: 3″, drop at comb: 1-7/8″. Bore restrictions 32″ bbls: left-.039, right -.045. 26″ bbls: left-.008, right-.011 Wall thickness 32″ bbls: left-.031, right-.034 26″ bbls: left-.028, right-.023. Bore diameter 32″ bbls: left-.699, right-.693 . 26″ bbls: left-.732, right-.733. Weight with 32″ bbls: 8 lbs 2.88 oz. CONDITION: Fine. 32″ bbls retain 65-70% thin silver/blue Damascus pattern with wear and light pitting over forearm & receiver areas. 26″ bbls retain a thin blued patina with some brown Damascus pattern showing through. Missing ejectors & dolls head spacer with bright shiny bores. Receiver retains 30-40% dark case colors with balance a silver-brown patina. Wood is sound & retains about 85% orig varnish. Pad has lost about 1/2 its leather face & both plugs. Left ejector is not functioning on the 32” bbls, otherwise mechanics are fine. Bright shiny bores. 4-57918 JR342 (2,000-3,000)
