FOLK ART GOTHIC VICTORIAN TIN BIRDCAGE IN THE FORM OF A GAZEBO, LATE 19TH CENTURY. Of hexagonal form with six arched pitched roofs surmounted by the cupola with pierced and molded frieze, the roofs interspaced with six square chimneys centering roundels of pierced Gothic fretwork. The wire sides of Gothic arches, two mounted with wire feeders, the third with arched wire door on a conforming step molded base raised on turned wooden feet. SIZE: 25”h x 15-1/4 dia. CONDITION: Good overall, with original patina, crenulated roof needs re-soldering to cupola. 9-90614 MD (800-1,200)
