*SPECTACULAR ENGRAVED & GOLD INLAID DAKOTA ARMS MODEL 76 DANGEROUS GAME BOLT ACTION RIFLE. SN 2175. Cal. 375 H&H. Fabulous rifle with 23″ tapered medium weight bbl, ramp sleeve front sight with hood and quarter-rib with diamond & dot engraved top edge, mounting a gold line fixed rear sight. Receiver is mounted with bases and quick detachable rings containing a matte finish Swarovski 1.5-6X42 scope with fine duplex crosshairs. Mounted in spectacular, highly figured Bastogne walnut with rosewood forend cap and two crossbolts with rosewood plugs. Stock has 13-1/2″ LOP over an orig Dakota Arms solid black pad with Prince of Wales style grip with skeleton grip cap, and straight comb with shadow cheekpiece. Bottom of the stock is mounted with a Kimber style sling base with stalking sling base around bbl. The receiver and corresponding area of the stock are extra deep to accommodate the larger size magnum cartridges. Receiver, floorplate, trigger guard, bolt handle, scope rings and over the chamber area of the bbl are spectacularly engraved in foliate arabesque patterns with gold wire outlines around most of surfaces. Sides of quarter-rib are engraved to match with top & rear face of front sight ramp engraved in diamond & dot patterns. Sides of the front sight are outlined in gold wire. Floorplate, trigger guard & grip cap are engraved to match with gold wire outlines and a deep relief, raised gold leopard shoulder vignette in the center. Left side of receiver is marked “DAKOTA ARMS / 76 / STURGIS, SD”. This is truly an exceptional and spectacular big game hunting rifle. Weight: 10 lbs. 3 oz. with scope. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, as new. Retains virtually all of its fine custom finish. Appears to be unfired with only very slight scuffing to the bolt body.
