SALESMAN SAMPLE OLD TOWN CANOE. Circa Late 19th/Early 20th Century. Outstanding wooden construction with ribbed interior framework and attached seats. Exterior is deep forest green with yellow pinstripes stenciled “Old Town Canoe”. Retains original decals on both sides from this Old Town, ME manufacturer. SIZE: 48″ l x 9″ w. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of the late John Woods, St. Louis, MO. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Overall crazing to original painted surface with various chips to paint and alligatoring to wood. 1-9362 (5,000-10,000)
