*RARE SPECIAL ORDER PARKER GHE GRADE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 231017. Built on an O frame with rare special order 32″ ventilated rib Parker special steel bbls choked FULL/FULL. Rib has dbl ivory beads with doll’s head extension, ejectors & dbl triggers. Mounted with very highly figured, beautiful, center crotch cut, flame grain, American walnut with long orig beavertail forearm & capped semi-pistol grip stock, 14″ over a Parker dog’s head hard rubber buttplate. There is a blank initial shield on bottom. Receiver is engraved with typical “G” patterns of two flying ducks on left side, two pheasant on right side & two pheasant on trigger plate, surrounded by light arabesque patterns. Drop at the heel: 2-1/2″, drop at the comb: 1-9/16″. Bore restrictions: left – .022, right – .023. Wall thickness: left – .030, right – .020. Bore diameter: left – .594, right – .593. Weight: 7 lbs. 6.72 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain 97-98% strong bright orig blue with two small chemical spots over left chamber area. Receiver retains most of its orig case colors, strong & bright on sides & sheltered areas, fading to patina on bottom. Trigger guard is flaked to mostly gray/brown patina. Stock has a small chip back of top tang, otherwise wood is sound & retains most of its strong orig factory finish. Crisp mechanics, bright shiny bores. 4-55482 JR73 (5,000-8,000)
