NEW HAVEN ARMS “THE INTERCHANGEABLE” DBL BBL HAMMER SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 27. Fine Belgian made dbl with 30″ bbls choked FULL/MOD with concave, matted, tapered rib with single bead and is marked “Genuine Krupp Fluid Steel”. It has dbl bite and Greener cross bolt rib extension with extractors. The receiver and lockplates are lightly engraved with foliate arabesque patterns and light border decoration. The wood is beautifully grained European walnut with checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock, 13-3/4″ over a serrated hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain an even, smooth blue/gray patina, probably an old restored rust/blue finish. Receiver & lockplates retain traces of case color, being mostly a cleaned bright metal. Wood is sound and retains about all of a bright refinish with one or two minor nicks & scratches. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bores. 4-54398 JR140 (300-600)
