*SCARCE PARKER DHE GRADE LIVE PIGEON DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 216604. Built on a #2 frame and listed in the records as a Grade T13 (D Grade with Titanic steel bbls). This beautiful shotgun has 34″ Titanic steel bbls with flat matted ventilated rib with dbl ivory beads, doll’s head extension, ejectors & gold washed Parker sgl selective trigger. Receiver is engraved in typical “D” patterns with a bird dog on each side & four pheasant on trigger plate, all surrounded with fine arabesque patterns & maker’s name in a ribbon on each side. Mounted with highly figured French walnut with large checkered beavertail forearm & straight stock with raised teardrop side panels, 14-3/4″ over a collapsed solid red pad. Drop at heel: 1-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Bore restrictions: left – .026, right – .034. Wall thickness: left – .040, right – .038. Bore diameter: left – .705, right – .696. Weight: 8 lbs. 11.52 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain about 98% strong bright orig blue & receiver about 90% orig case colors. Trigger guard retains 93-95% orig blue. Wood is sound with minor nicks & scratches & retains most of its orig factory varnish with some crazing on buttstock & tip of forearm. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bores.
