*SCARCE ITHACA FLUES MODEL DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 28 ga. SN 216160. Field grade shotgun with 24-3/16″ bbls choked MOD/CYL with flat matted rib, single bead, one lump with rib extension and extractors. The receiver is flat sided with a bird dog and shrubs on both sides, dbl triggers along with the maker’s name & address. It has very nicely figured shell grain American walnut wood with checkered splinter forearm and semi-pistol grip stock, 14″ over an orig Ithaca flying bird embossed hard rubber buttplate. Bore restrictions: left – .011, right – .000. Drop at the heel 2-15/16″, drop at the comb 1-11/16″. Weight: 4 lb 14.5 oz. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Bbls retain 95-96% strong orig blue. Receiver retains 50-60% faded case colors with the balance turned silver. Wood is sound with minor nicks & scratches and retains 97-98% strong orig varnish.
