A COLLECTION OF SCRIMSHAW BONE AND BALEEN ITEMS. 1) 4-1/2” carved coconut dipper inscribed “CHARLES A. BULL”. Very good with original surface. 2) 12-1/2” Kree with bone handle and baleen sheath. Split in handle, wear to blade. 3) 10-3/4” scrimshawed salad fork and 9-1/2” spoon, with cutout heart handles, the spoon incised “DEAREST” the fork “CZARINA BLOSSOM”, dated “1843” within a heart. 4) 3” folding mother-of-pearl and bone personal calendar with silvered clasp. Antique with later scrimshaw work. CONDITION: As noted above, generally overall good. 9-74667 SM (1,000-1,500)
