STEVENS MODEL 235 DBL BBL HAMMER SHOTGUN.

STEVENS MODEL 235 DBL BBL HAMMER SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 71929. Early shotgun with 30″ steel bbls choked FULL/MOD, with serrated flat rib, single bead, with rib extension and extractors. The receiver is undecorated and has the maker’s name & address on the left side. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbls retain a smooth mottled blue/brown patina with a dent about 6″ from the muzzle on the left side. Receiver retains a silver/brown patina with traces of orig case colors and silvered case hardening. Stock has a couple of small chips at the receiver, otherwise the wood is sound showing moderate to heavy wear with nicks & scratches and a small gouge on the wrist. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bores. 4-53999 JR57 (400-700)
