QUACKENBUSH SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 22. NSN. Unusual swinging breech action with 18” medium weight rnd bbl, fixed sights and nickeled iron flat side receiver without forearm and a tiny walnut stock with straight grip and crescent buttplate with long top tang. All the metal parts are very nicely nickel plated except the breechblock and trigger, which are case colored. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains virtually all of the original nickel-plating with some light flaking on the buttplate and very fine pinpoint pimpling on the receiver. Breechblock retains most all of its case colors and the wood 95-96% original varnish with a few light scratches. Sear engagement is a little light, otherwise mechanics are fine, bright bore with a spot or two of light pitting. 4-52903 JR418 (400-700)
