LEFEVER DS GRADE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 70619. Field grade Lefever with 28″ bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL with raised tapered matted rib with single bead and rib extension with extractors & dbl triggers. The receiver & lockplates are completely unadorned except for the maker’s name & address on each side. The lockplates do not have cocked indicators. It has straight grain walnut wood with checkered splinter forearm and round knob stock, 14-1/2″ over a leather-covered pad. Bore restrictions: left – .017, right – .004. Drop at the heel 3-1/2″, drop at the comb 1-3/4″. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain about 95% orig blue, thinning over the chamber areas. Receiver retains dark case colors on the bottom and in the sheltered areas and the lockplates retain about 90% muted case colors. Stock has a hairline back of the left lockplate, otherwise the wood is sound showing moderate to heavy wear with light nicks & scratches and retains most of an old restored finish. Mechanics are fine, strong bright bores with light orange peel pitting in the right side. 4-54394 JR144 (500-800)
