PARKER DH GRADE DAMASCUS DOUBLE bblSHOT GUN. Cal. 12 Ga. SN 69758. Built on a #2 frame with 30″ Damascus bbls, choked FULL/FULL with concave tapered matted rib, single bead with dolls head extension, extractor and double triggers. Is mounted with highly figured slab sawed American walnut with checkered splinter forearm & pistol grip stock 14″ over a checkered skeleton butt plate. It has hard rubber grip cap and a pinned silver oval initial plate on the bottom engraved “JS”. The receiver is beautifully engraved in “D” style with vignette of a pointer on the left side and setter on the right side and four pheasants on the bottom. All surrounded by about 70% coverage fine foliate arabesque patterns. It has the serpentine opening lever. Bore restrictions: Left -.034, right -.032. Choke diameters: Left – .704, right – .705. Drop at the heel: 3-1/4″, drop at the comb: 1-7/8″. Weight: 7 lbs 14.4 oz. This shotgun will letter as found. CONDITION: Very fine. The bbls retain 96-97% strong orig brown Damascus pattern with slight muzzle edge wear and a small ding near the left muzzle. Receiver retains about 60% faded orig case colors, strong in the sheltered areas, turned silver elsewhere. Wood is sound with forearm a dark hand rubbed patina and the butt stock a beautiful medium patina retaining most of an outstanding professionally restored finish. Crisp mechanics.
