FINE IVORY HANDLED SILVER MOUNTED CARVING SET MADE FOR ONE OF THE JOHNSON BROTHERS. Ivory-handled silver mounted carving sets made for Charles Johnson, in Muskegon, Michigan in 1939. The overall length is 15-1/8″, blade length 10-1/2″. Fork 11″. Blade stamped with kris and name stamp. Silver mounted and ivory slabbed. Pictured on page 159 of the book. PROVENANCE: Dr. Jim Lucie Collection. CONDITION: Excellent with minor amount of staining and usage/handling marks.
