*PARKER VHE GRADE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 28 ga. SN 238929. Built on a OO frame this fine little shotgun has 26″ bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL. It has tapered concave matted rib with sgl bead marked “VULCAN STEEL” with doll’s head ejectors & Parker sgl selective trigger. Mounted with very nicely figured American walnut with checkered splinter forearm & straight stock, 13-7/8″ over a Parker dog’s head hard rubber buttplate. There is a blank silver initial shield on bottom of stock. It is accompanied by a letter from the Connecticut Shotgun Company stating that this shotgun is completely original & virtually 100% factory new. Drop at the heel: 2-1/2″, drop at the comb: 1-1/2″. Bore restrictions: left – .019, right – .007. Bore diameter: left – .526, right – .546. Weight: 5 lbs. 13.44 oz. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine. Nearly new, retaining virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood. There is some slight thinning on forend iron & flaking on lower tang, otherwise bbl blue is strong & bright & case colors on receiver are brilliant. Stock has a small filled spot on left side panel with some evidence of light surface cleaning. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bores. 4-55500 JR43 (8,000-12,000)
