Of compressed globular form with loop handles flanking the flared neck, painted in black, the X-form designs and zigzag bands reserved in the buff colored ware beneath, with dark red linear bands. SIZE: 4-3/4″ h x 5-1/4″ at widest. PROVENANCE: Private collection of Dr. & Mrs. Winfield Gibbs, Sunbury, PA. Purchased from Christies Fine Chinese Ceramics, New York 6/3/88, Lot 120.
