ANTIQUE WALTERSHAUSEN FURNITURE & ORMOLU ACCESSORIES. Circa 19th Century. Waltershausen (Boulle) furniture features an outstanding display cabinet with glass door and sides having great scalloped pediment at top and long drawer at bottom mounted on a base with scalloping and small feet, a great buffet with wood turned finials between shelves mounted on a base with a long drawer and cupboard doors below having unusually nice gold transfer work throughout, a very unusual double sewing stand where the top lifts up to reveal a mirror underneath with a divided compartment and below is a drawer that when opened also reveals divided compartments for sewing implements and a fancy mirrored bureau having great scalloped border around a mirror that is in the shape of a crest having gold transfer work of a warrior’s bust at the top. Ormolu accessories include a six globe chandelier, a cruet set with bottles, a console mirror with exceptional impressed designs around mirror and a framed print. SIZE: Tallest is 6-3/4″.
