EXTREMELY PRETTY 1907 JUMEAU CHILD DOLL. Head incised “1907 9” with very nice blue paperweight eyes, slightly open mouth with six tiny upper molded teeth, pierced ears, creamy complexion and nicely painted eyelashes and evenly painted brows. Body has the blue stamp reading “BEBE JUMEAU DIPLOME d’ HONNEUR” with overall good original finish. She has been well re-costumed in a plum velvet jacket with ecru lace trim, pleated skirt with red rose braids and a huge purple ribbon on the bodice. Wig is newer light brown human hair and the shoes are new blue leather with cloth flower rosettes. SIZE: 20-1/2″ (52cm). CONDITION: Very good; several tiny firing splits in rim of head that do not extend to the main part of head. 1-10875 (700-1,000)
