*PARKER VHE SKEET GRADE DBL BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 410. SN 241082. Built on a “000” frame with 28″ bbls choked Skeet In/Skeet Out, with tapered concaved matted ribs, dbl beads, dolls head extension, ejectors and Parker single selective trigger. The receiver has typical V-grade border decorations with lightening cuts in the water table. It is mounted with very nicely figured, feather crotch cut American walnut. It has a matching, extra tall beavertail forearm with extra checkering and semi-pistol grip stock 14-5/16″ over a smooth solid red pad. There is a silver initial shield on the bottom engraved “ACM” and there is a small spot of fill on the left bottom side. Accompanied by its orig hang tag and the yellow Parker Bros. “notice” tag. Also accompanied by a brown vinyl trunk with cream colored baize lining, compartmented in the bottom for the two pieces of the gun with a spare compartment in right front. It has an Aztec International Ltd label in the lid. CONDITION: Bbls retain 96-97% strong bright orig blue with light muzzle edge wear and a couple of thin spots under the forearm. Receiver retains about all of its orig case colors, strong and bright on the sides and bottoms turned silver on the bottom front edge. Trigger guard retains about 70% strong bright blue with the bottom tang bright metal and the top tang slightly faded. Forearm has a repaired chip on the right side of the bbl channel and a repaired crack on the left side, very professionally done and almost indistinguishable. Otherwise the wood is completely sound and retains about all of its orig varnish on the buttstock and about all of a professionally restored finish on the forearm. Mechanics are crisp.
