SALESMAN SAMPLE ROAD MACHINE. Early 20th Century. This phenomenal construction equipment sample consists of wooden horse drawn wagon body with crank activated conveyor belt that scoops gravel into the segmented bed via a series of grates to separate by size. Hinged side chutes release gravel. Wagon is stenciled in yellow “Built By Acme Road Machinery Co. Frankfort, NY” and “Patented Sept. 20, 1904”. Complete with original wooden carrying case. SIZE: 29″ l x 9″ w x 17″ h.
