HANDEL KEROSENE LAMP BASE. Very rare Handel lamp base has bulbous shaped body with lightly impressed vertical panels of stylized leaves. The base supports an oil font with three attached vertical arms supporting a 3-3/4″ shade ring. The shade comes with what appears to be the original electric converter with an open ring that sits down over the shade ring and rests on a small lip on each of the support arms. The electric cord extends from the outside of the converter. Base is signed on the underside with impressed “Handel”. SIZE: 21-1/2″ to top of shade ring. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some very minor blistering of finish. 5-60704 (500-1,000)
