*CASED PARKER AHE GRADE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 213245. Built on an “O” frame with 26″ Acme steel bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL with tapered concave matted rib, sgl bead, doll’s head extension, ejectors & gold-plated Parker sgl trigger. Receiver is beautifully engraved with full coverage consisting of large vignettes of two ducks on left side, three pheasants on right side, two spaniels on floorplate & a standing pointer on bottom of receiver, all surrounded by very well executed fine foliate arabesque patterns. Fences have a sgl raised rib at rear edge. Mounted with highly figured shell grain American walnut with a full checkered splinter forearm & pistol grip stock with checkered fleur-de-lis side panels, 14-1/4″ over a checkered skeleton buttplate. Stock has a blank gold initial plate on bottom. Accompanied by a fine oak & leather maroon felt lined trunk case with snap caps, a square oil bottle, 2-pc ebony wiping rod & cleaning tools with a canvas & leather cover. Drop at heel: 2-3/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Bore restrictions: left – .016, right – .010. Wall thickness: left – .029, right – .009. Bore diameter: left – .594, right – .616. Weight: 6 lbs. 6.72 oz. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Overall retains virtually all of an extremely fine professionally restored finish to both metal & wood. Bbl blue is strong & bright with bright Parker type case colors. Stock has a few light creases in finish, otherwise is sound. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bores that have been honed. Right bbl appears to have been honed excessively.
