Additional Information: The base is repatinated and/or may not be original.

TIFFANY STUDIOS NASTURTIUM FLOOR LAMP. The lamp begins with a fully leaded shade with nasturtium flowers. These flowers, some of them having as many as six petals, are strewn over the entire shade so as to be considered a full floral. This cornucopia of colors is made even more outstanding by the use of heavily textured glass. The colors range from yellow to purple to orange. The blossoms are backed by large green textured panels which represent the foliage of the nasturtium flower. Finally, panels of blue striated glass represent the sky. The shade is supported by a junior floor base that is nicely decorated with tendrils down the center shaft ending in a foliate pattern all resting on four padded feet. The lamp is finished with a pierced top cap. The entire lamp carries a desirable chocolate brown and green patina finish. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 1506-16”. The base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 379”. (It is widely thought that shades with dash numbers were considered to be exceptional by the studios). SIZE: Shade is 22″ dia. Lamp is 63″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with few if any tight hairlines. 5-61547 (70,000-100,000)
